WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2024 Avni Pinot Noir reflects the exceptional growing conditions of the season, yielding highly developed and complex flavors of fruit, flowers, savory herbs, and mineral character, all balanced with vibrant freshness. The initial aromas are raspberry, red cherry, and pomegranate, followed by delicate notes of rose and black tea. The entry is round and complex, with fine tannins and fresh acidity, offering flavors of graphite, dried herbs, rose, clove, black cherry, and truffle. The overall impression is one of classic harmony, with a long, nuanced, and savory finish.
TASTING NOTES:
This is a beautiful wine that perfectly expresses pinot noir from the Willamette Valley in an exceptional year. It shows bright red fruit, flowers, juicy acidity and iron-like minerality. The long finish carries flavors of orange peel and bitter cocoa. Drink or hold.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Avni pours a bright jeweled ruby color and is pretty and inviting, with spice box, floral perfume, anise, wild berries, warming spice, toasted earth, and cedar. Medium-bodied, it has good length, youthful chalky tannins, salty lift, dark stones, and hints of both blue and black raspberry. From around 30% estate-grown fruit, give it another six months if you can, though it is already very pretty.
