Triton Tinta de Toro is the pure representation of the oldest clone of Tempranillo in Spain, located in the only Spanish D.O. that completely resisted the phylloxera plague. The wine is rich and fruity, characterized by smooth, integrated tannin, and a long, elegant finish. The product of extremely dark, sweet berries.
TASTING NOTES:
Fine spices, blackberries, cocoa powder and graphite. This is juicy and flavorful on the palate, with a full body and a heap of dusty tannins. Tight, structured and pretty long.

The 2022 Tritón originates from Toro and has been barrel-aged for up to eight months. Garnet in color. The ripe fruit aromas include blackberry and sour cherry above a backdrop of wild herbs. Rich and indulgent, the firm yet polished tannins and balanced acidity contribute to a long-lasting and overwhelmingly satisfying palate. This is truly a Toro red.

A blend of old, ungrafted vines of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo), the 2022 Tritón Tinta De Toro has a pure, ripe nose of red, black, and maybe even blue fruits supported by sappy flower, peppery, and subtle chocolate notes. It's beautifully balanced, medium-bodied, has fine tannins, and a terrific mix of richness and freshness.
