WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Bosan Amarone is produced from a single vineyard of 5 hectares located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico DOCG. Concentrated and full-bodied, Bosan displays jammy, raisined fruit flavors. Ripe red cherry notes envelope the palate, while subtle cocoa and vanilla notes follow on the lengthy finish.
Blend: 80% Corvina, 20% Rondinella
TASTING NOTES:
Distinctively mineral and tarry for Amarone, with moss, porcini, new leather, cedar and chocolate. It goes quite dry and creamy on the palate, which is full of high-resolution tannins, followed by some finely ground black chocolate. Ends tight, but resolved and long...Bravo!

Here is a pretty late-release wine. The Cesari 2013 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Bosan (a blend of 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella) exhibits a spicy and exotic side with lots of oak toast, black fruit, smoky tar and sticky blackberry or dried currant. This full-bodied wine delivers ample weight and thickness to the palate (along with a considerable 15.5% alcohol content).
