WINEMAKER NOTES:
Born from our Animana vineyard in Cafayate, above 5,500 feet. With calcareous, stone, and sandy soils, this blend of 5 grapes is here to prove the potential of this unique terroir. With a deep cherry red color, it has notes of menthol, cherries, tobacco, spices and truffle. Complex both on the nose and the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity and silky tannins. Full-bodied and structured, notes of cassis appear on the palate with a long finish. It is distinguished by its complexity and elegance.
TASTING NOTES:
This is an interesting blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 14% Merlot and the rest Malbec and Ancellotta. Chalky and floral notes perfume the nose. The palate is balanced and vibrant, with plenty of red fruit and blackberries. Savory notes of rosemary and oregano mark the finish.
