WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2023 growing season in Sonoma County delivered exceptional quality and balance for Cabernet Sauvignon. A cool, rainy winter replenished reservoirs and delayed budbreak, setting the stage for a long, measured ripening period. Mild summer temperatures and minimal heat spikes allowed grapes to develop slowly, building deep color, vibrant aromatics, and refined tannins. Harvest came later than average, with fruit showing excellent flavor concentration and natural acidity. The Sonoma County’s 2023 Cabernet vintage is poised to be a standout by showcasing purity of fruit, structure, and elegance that reflect the region’s hallmark style.
Blend: 80.4% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6.13% Merlot, 5.16% Malbec, 8.28% Other red wine
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of roasted blackberry, plum, cinnamon, and roasted coffee drive the nose of this Cabernet. The palate delivers silky texture and bright berry fruit, with echoes of cedar, cocoa, caramel, and black pepper through the finish.
