WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
In the glass, this Franciacorta displays a brilliant gold hue with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is complex, offering aromas of fresh fruits like apple and pear, complemented by floral notes of linden and subtle hints of acacia honey and green tea. On the palate, it is exuberant yet firm, with a mineral focus that leads to a refined finish with a touch of dried almond.
TASTING NOTES:
This is a fresh, dense sparkling wine with lots of cooked-apple, fresh-lemon and mineral character. Full body, lots of fruit and a delicious finish. This was disgorged in the summer of 2014. A blend of mostly chardonnay with some pinot noir and pinot bianco. Drink now.

A standard bearer of the region, this wine always delivers. This cuvee opens with aromas of fresh and spiced baked apples, ginger flowers, and a hint of toast. The wine takes a more focused path on the palate with a mineral-driven approach with flavors of preserved lemon peel, Pink Lady apples and finishing with a crushed chalk minerality on the finish.

Celebrating a big anniversary, the Ca' del Bosco NV Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige Extra Brut 45 Edizione is mostly Chardonnay with smaller parts Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco. It's a blend of vintage and reserve wines from 2020, 2019 and 2018, and it ages on the lees for 25 months to produce aromas of rich lemon and freshly baked pie crust. The beading is visibly very light and delicate, and the palate is too. This is a very gentle sparkler with medium-plus freshness.
