WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Although befitting Serralunga, this wine goes a step further than its western slope
counterparts both in aromas, textures and flavors. It begins with darker and fleshier romas and distinctive balsamic notes. The texture in the mouth is unique, with finely grained tannins that accentuate, not overpower, the complex aromas and flavors. This is a wine that is surprisingly pleasing to enjoy young, but will be even more exciting, complex and revealing with age.
TASTING NOTES:
The elegant nose opens with pristine cherry aromas supported by subtle notes of clove, anise, rosewood and tea. The focused palate continues to highlight ripe cherries and evolves into savory elements. Well-crafted tannins and crunch acidity give the wine vigor and lift. The wine is generous, rich and superbly balanced. firm and chewy tannins that are polished and racy. Needs time to open. Better after 2026.
