WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This pale cuvée dazzles a silvery hue in the sunlight as you swirl it in the glass. The aromas are classic chenin, with verbena and citrus, clover honey and casaba melon. The crisp palate is juicy with honeysuckle and Rainer cherry flavors underscoring the integrated acidity with a generous fruit-driven center. The finish is layered with mineral, wet stone, lemon zest and Key lime with pear grit and sweet passion fruit essence.
TASTING NOTES:
This bottling is the 25th Anniversary of this selection. Chenin Blanc is being celebrated in the region. We should be seeing more options for the varietal. The aromas are zesty, fresh, citrus, pear, yellow apple, cinnamon, and notes of high acidity on the nose. The mouthfeel is lively with orange zest, Meyer lemon, quince paste, warming spices, and minerals on the finish. pair with grilled skate, morel mushroom, brown butter
