WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Typically floral, Lemartine is opulent, intense, and fleshy this wine is loaded with cassis, blackberry compote, blueberry jam and perfumed with candied violets. Delicious with hard cheeses, but simply sublime with a fine cigar or a great book.
Blend: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese
TASTING NOTES:
Rich, boasting cherry, raspberry, wild rosemary, mineral and spice flavors, this red is also smooth and succulent. Firm tannins grip the finish, yet this finds a nice equilibrium as it winds down on the long aftertaste. Sangiovese. Best from 2026 through 2042.
