Will I Get My Order On Time?


2020 is the year of online shopping. Like many online retailers, we are working through an unprecedented volume of orders as many people opt to stay home and stay safe. While we are working around the clock to get orders out as quickly as possible, there is no avoiding the fact that delays will happen.

The Short Answer:
We are able to get most orders shipped out within 10 days of purchase, but due to unforeseen vintage change and availability issues, some orders may take longer. Here are some things you can do to help us get your order out faster:

 

1. If you are OK with vintage substitutions, let us know on the cart page. A vintage substitution is substituting a different year of a wine you purchased  (ex: if 2017 Josh Cabernet is not available, you are OK with receiving a different year, such as 2016 or 2018). You can let us know by checking the vintage substitution box (pictured, right).

 

2. If you are not OK with vintage substitutions, that's OK! But please keep an eye on your email and phone. If there is a vintage issue with your order, we will contact you to see how you'd like to proceed.

 

3. Sometimes items become unexpectedly out of stock, and we are unable to re-order from our suppliers. When this happens, we will contact you about the availability issue. However, you can help speed up the process by indicating in the "Add Order Notes" text box on the cart page how you would like to handle availability issues. If you are OK with us making comparable substitutions for missing items (you can trust us, we know a thing or two about wines, beers, and spirits), or if you'd prefer that we refund for missing items, letting us know in the order notes will allow us to take action quickly and process your order faster.

 

4. If you'd prefer to be contacted first regarding availability issues, please keep an eye on your email and phone. We will contact you to see how you'd like to proceed.

 

5. Other things to keep in mind:
- We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO boxes. Please use a street address where someone can be available to sign for the package.
- We cannot ship liquor or beer to Michigan addresses. If you are in Michigan and would like to purchase liquor or beer from us, you must pick it up in store. You may either place your order online and receive a shipping refund upon pickup, or you may call ahead to reserve your items.

7. Finally, we just want you to know that we appreciate your business tremendously! This year may be a little crazy, and the holidays (as with the rest of 2020) might not go exactly as planned.
