Dried mushroom, wood spice, anise and baked red-fruit aromas show on the nose of this blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah and 3% Merlot. It's viscous on the palate at first, and then the tannins and acidity rise to meet the blue fruit and toasty oak flavors.
