Tasting Notes:

Saturated violet. Ripe dark berries, vanilla, baking spices, pipe tobacco and woodsmoke on the deeply perfumed nose. Broad and seamless in texture, offering sweet, smoke-tinged blackberry, cherry-vanilla and spicecake flavors that firm up slowly with air. Finishes sappy, gently chewy and quite long, with repeating dark fruit character, well judged tannins and a lingering floral naunce.

Winemaker's Notes:

A garnet color. Aromas of cassis, blueberry, cedar and anise, with hints of black olives and juniper berry. Full-bodied with cassis and blueberry, licorice notes, chewy and chalky tannins.
