TASTING NOTE:

Gorgeous wine from this appellation with orange peel, cherries, dried strawberries and ripe watermelon. Complex. The palate is extraordinary, delivering a wonderful center palate of fruit. Great drive that pops at the end with citrus fruit and cherries. Firm tannins, too.

WINEMAKER'S NOTE:

To the eye, this Côte de Brouilly offers a lovely, brilliant crimson color with ruby tints. The nose reveals fresh grape and iris aromas with a little touch of mineral. Heady and tannic on the palate, this is a racy, fleshy wine.

This wine pairs best with Coq a Vin, shellfish, poultry, red meats and goat cheese.
