This excellent wine is obtained with Ripasso, light springtime refermentation of a Valpolicella Classico Superiore wine on the lees of an Amarone wine. This wine ages in oak casks for 8 months and at least 12 months in bottle. Thanks to the ancient technique of Ripasso, this has a full-bodied and mellow taste. Goes well with grilled meats, game and mature cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
