WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2015 TÉRES bears beautiful notes of Bing cherry, menthol and lavender. The gorgeous aromas of baking spices infused with site-driven characteristics of iron and slate give this wine a stunning lift. On the palate fine-grain, coating tannins are balanced by a satisfying touch of acidity. Flavors of blackberry and rich chocolate ganache linger over the course of a long, structured finish. Enjoy now or cellar for five to ten years to experience full maturity.
TASTING NOTES:
Blended of the Estate fruit (Howell Mountain), Oakville and Rutherford, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Teres sports a deep garnet-purple color and an intense nose of crushed blackcurrants, black berries and garrigue with hints of bouquet garni, tilled soil, iron ore and moss-covered bark. Medium to full-bodied, the savory/earthy muscular fruit is firmly structured with grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on a minerally note. 1,150 cases were made.
