WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This release opens with aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, and subtle notes of allspice and clove. On the palate the wine has rich flavors of cherry, dark chocolate and raspberry pie. The tannins are velvety and lush. Ready to drink now, but will age for years to come.
TASTING NOTES:
A ripe and polished style, with cocoa-edged plum and blackberry preserve flavors carrying through a tobacco- and toast-filled finish. Drink now through 2024.

Deep purple-black in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a little closed at this youthful stage, giving notions of black and red cherries, black plums and blackcurrants plus wafts of mossy bark and spice box. Medium-bodied, it has a good amount of uncomplicated flavors in the mouth, framed by rounded tannins and finishing spicy.
